Lake Baldwin CARES

Family Advocacy Ministry

Not all can FOSTER, but all can CARE.

Find your way to CARE through our Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM) and let us know how you’d like to serve.

What ways can I serve?

Lake Baldwin Church’s FAM helps to bring about a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children. There are three main ways you can prayerfully consider serving:

  • Join a care community and serve a foster/adoptive family once a month through a care community of 6-10 people to serve in one of these roles:

    • Pray for or encourage a family

    • Bring a meal 1 x month

    • Serve as the team leader for the family

    • Be a role model in a child's life

    • Laundry or lawn work monthly

  • Join a response team to receive an email of tangible real-time needs you can meet to stabilize families in crisis to help keep kids out of foster care.

(ie. beds, cribs, car seats, rent or utilities)

  • Become a foster or adoptive family and welcome children into your home.
