Kim Melnick
Family Care Coach
Kim was born and raised in Central Florida and earned a degree in Communications from Florida State University before beginning her career in Atlanta, Georgia. After spending 10 years out of state, she returned to Florida in 2000 to be closer to family. She and her husband, Jeff, raised their four children in the Oviedo/Chuluota area, where they continue to make their home today.
After reading the story of a woman who spent nine years in foster care, Kim felt led by the Lord to serve as a Guardian ad Litem in Seminole County. She later transitioned to volunteering—and eventually working—at a local pregnancy clinic and she became actively involved in a care community through Commission 127.
Kim loves God’s Word and any opportunity to encourage others through prayer and the hope found in Scripture. She is excited to serve in Family Care at Commission 127 and considers it a privilege to walk alongside families with compassion, support, and Christ-centered encouragement.
